The heavy feeling after a lesson observation

Postby Creola on Mon Mar 25, 2019 12:57 pm

I wake up most mornings feeling like I can't teach; even if all of my bloodline depended on it.

Even when I have been told that I have taught an amazing lesson, there's always the small elements in lessons, whether it is behaviour issues, too much chat, students not understanding the task first time or literally running out of time, there will always be something.
I have this to be an extremely challenging year and I often wonder why I waste anyone's time trying to obtain a PGCE.

I'm not sure how anyone else manages and regulates their emotions, but I think I have finally run out of steam and cannot see that light at the end of the tunnel.
