Primary with MFL

Postby bct198 on Sun Dec 27, 2009 3:00 pm

Hello guys :)

I'm posting because I'm panicking hehe.
I have an interview in TWELVE DAYS for a PGCE Primary specialising in German and I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who had experience of the MFL element of the interview...
I am not too worried by the presentation/English interview but I can't imagine what they'll ask me in the German section...'cause surely it won't be the same questions as in English as that much specialist vocab couldn't be known in the foreign language?

Ach, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Beth x

Hi
Don't know if it helps but I interviewed for Primary with Spanish in December. The Spanish element involved a brief interview within a small group of other applicants (very relaxed) and then a written test. This was a bit strange since there was no particular subject for the written but they wanted to see use of tenses and writing ability.

Good Luck

Hi there - I am just wondering how you got on?

I had a letter come through today for an interview on the 29th January. Not much time to prepare.
Im hoping to do Primary with French at Newman.

I hope it went well x
