PGDE Scotland course content??

Hello everybody :)

I've just applied to do my PGDE (the Scottish PGCE) and I'm trying to prepare for the interviews. I've noticed a lot of the example questions online ask things like:

What part of the course do you think will be easiest/most enjoyable? And which will be most challenging?
How is your degree relevant to National Requirements?

But I'm a bit clueless about the course itself! I've applied to Glasgow and Aberdeen, and I want to teach English (I have an MA in English and History). I've looked on the course websites but its all gobbledy gook ;) Apparently I'll be doing 'learning and teaching in the secondary curriculum' and 'professional enquiry.' Very helpful!

Has anyone done the PGDE in Scotland and can help me out a bit? What does the course involve and how can I answer that question about the relevance of my degree to national requirements? I've been on the SQA website and looked at all the info for English but I'm not really getting anywhere...!

Lots to answer there, thank you in advance for anyone who manages to help me out!
Best wishes,
