As a PGCE student do you really know what teaching life is really like?

I think most of us have a pretty good idea of what "where letting ourselves in for"
I don't think anyone would commit to becoming a teahcer without having a good idea of what its really like, thats why we spend time in schools observing teachers.
Becoming an NQT obviously is when you really get to know what its like, but I've spoken to many teachers and have been given some quite revealling first hand stories, and I still want to become a teacher!
