Hi I'm looking for a bit of input from teachers regarding building resilience in children who have suffered from adverse childhood experiences.
I know this is quite a sensitive topic but any help would be appreciated.
How do you feel that you can promote resilience in your pupils?
Do you feel like you're given enough support by the system to deal with pupils who have suffered from aces? What more do you think could be done?
In theory, if a child has even one adult, like a teacher, that they have a positive relationship with, it can make a real difference to their lives. Do you agree or do you feel that there is more to it?
