Research on teacher experiences with trauma-exposed students

Postby zbrodie on Mon Jun 22, 2020 8:45 am

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all keeping safe and sane during this time. Some of my students currently studying their MSc in Education at the University of Edinburgh are exploring teacher's experiences of working with students who have potentially been exposed to trauma. We're interested in your attitudes towards working in a 'trauma-informed' way, and the impact that might have on your wellbeing in your current role. The study is open to teachers at all levels of education, whether or not you feel you've worked directly with a trauma-exposed student or not.

The survey will take around 20 minutes to complete. I know you're busier than ever at the moment, but if you have the time please take part and share the survey with your colleagues. Once the study is complete, I will post a summary of findings in this forum in case they are of interest.

You can find the link to take part below. The study has received ethical approval from the University of Edinburgh. Thanks so much in advance, and take care.
