Long Hair on a Boy

Postby easybullet3 on Fri Jun 16, 2017 1:21 am

is this acceptable, or not ?
My Son and I are British and have been living in Asia for the past 10 years.
We have now left Asia and back to England and choosing schools.

He is currently 15 and his hair is about 3 inches past his shoulders.
This has been the hair that he has always had for the last 5 years.

A friend mentioned to us that all schools in the UK will make my Son cut his hair.

Is this really the case ?
I wanted to know your personal view on this subject.

What if he refuses to cut his hair? (As a parent, i certainly wouldn't hold him down and cut it).

I really would like to know some answers BEFORE putting my Son though any confidence-destroying situations.

I am hoping to get some honest and helpful words from someone about this.

Thank you
Marc

I can't say I've ever known a school to make a boy cut his hair short. As long as it is kept tidy I don't see why any school would have an issue.
