Help finding a job

Postby Fátima on Fri Oct 11, 2019 1:35 pm

Hi all,

First of all, thanks in advance for reading these lines, I´m sure any kind of comment will help.

I´ve been trying to find a job as a Spanish Teacher for a very long time and so far I didn´t even have one interview. I may not have the best curriculum but I´m pretty sure I have the basics requirements and a bit more (and also a strong willingness to be the best teacher I can).

After this big disappointment I´m starting to think it may be because I´m not currently living in the UK; Could it be that the reason? (but I can´t move until I find a job) or could it be because English isn´t my mother tongue?

Any advice or suggestion will mean the world to me.

Thank you all again for your time.

Best regards,
Fátima

I know this is a somewhat old thread, but have you gotten a native English speaker to proof-read your CV? Small errors in your written English could potentially be off-putting to schools.
