I have passed my numeracy test today, after 1 and 1/2 month hard work! I would say try and study KS3 essential maths , plus Vali Nasser's pass the QTS numeracy skills test with ease. good luck to you all.

I have watched my daughter study her heart out to get A*'s in most of her GCSE's and A Levels's only to have her self esteem and confidence knocked out of her on the numeracy test, her dream has gone. This is not a good way to find quality teachers.

I think the numeracy tests are extremely unfair. They are not a bit like the practice tests. After getting a conditional offer place at Brighton I am not able to go as I was one mark off passing on my 3rd attempt. The system stinks if you ask me!

I've just tried these tests with no prior knowledge of what would be in them and no practice or revision just to see how difficult they are. I'm not a teacher nor do I plan on becoming one, but I would not be happy if any of my children were being ta... read more »
